We are a provider of comprehensive services in the area of design, construction and maintenance of telecommunications cable networks, with more than 400 employees in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. We incorporate a rich legacy of long-standing experience in copper as well as fiber-optic telecommunications and electro energetic networks. Management

Zef Vučaj

CEO

Zef Vučaj is an experienced manager with rich international experiences within various industries and with references and results. He worked as part of the management team in one of the major logistics multinationals (AP Moller – Maersk), as well as an entrepreneur in several start-ups. He lived and worked in Denmark, Austria and Slovenia, which enables him to operate successfully in today’s rapidly changing global environment. Before coming to GVO, he managed RGP d.o.o. as a member of the management team – company director. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s degree in business management and a doctorate in science.

mag. Darko Gradišnik

director of Construction Operating Unit

Mr Gradišnik has more than twenty years of experiences in area of construction and maintenance of telecommunicating networks. He started his career in area of complex measures on telecommunicating networks in PTT Company. He was the head of GVO’s Maribor-Murska Sobota Construction Centre. He also developed many information solutions, which were used for optimizing processes in GVO company. He has a university diploma from Electrotechnics engineering and a magisterium from IT.

Roman Mazi

director of Sales and Marketing Unit

Mr. Mazi has long year’s experiences in various management positions in international companies which he gained mainly abroad. He started his career in the company Kompas Consulting as a CFO in their Russian subsidiary in Krasnojarsk. He continued his career as a project manager for projects in Russia for the company Impakta d.d., Ljubljana. From 1998 till 2010 he was employed in the biggest Slovenian oil company Petrol, where he started as a commercialist and soon after he took the position as the head of oil derivatives procurement department. Between 2003 and 2007 he was a CEO of the Petrol BH Oil Company in Sarajevo BIH. During his employment in Petrol he was also management board consultant, responsible for southeast market as well as a head of foreign markets department. He has a diploma in economics.

Matej Kušar

Head of the business Support department

Mr. Kušar is an experienced business communicator and expert in the field of controlling, where he constantly acquire new knowledge throughout his career, which enables him to operate in various business areas. He gained experience in major Slovenian corporations, where he managed relations with the media and advised top and middle management in the field of business communication. At GVO he worked in the areas of public procurement and public-private partnership and communication, and later also in the areas of controlling and finance. Today, he manage the Business Support Department, which mainly takes care of controlling, finance and accounting, human resources, and quality management and environmental management systems. He has a bachelor’s degree in organizer-manager, and he is currently finishing his master’s studies at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana.
